At her arraignment in Warren District Judge Sam Potter's court, 26-year-old Katrina Covington, pleaded not guilty to "trafficking in a controlled substance within one-thousand yards of a school."
She was released to her mother on a $5,000 surety bond.
Covington's next court date is a preliminary hearing Friday morning at eight. At that same time, three Western students and a non-student arrested with Covington on the same charges will also be in court.
The students are 21-year-old Christy Elliott, 25-year-old Montez Cox, and 23-year-old John McCloud. The non-student is 24-year-old Anthoninus Duncan.
Bowling green police say they found a large amount of marijuana in a bedroom closet and kitchen trash can. McCloud, Cox, and Duncan lived in the house at 1428 Park Street. Covington has been suspended from her duties at western, pending the outcome of the case.
