Some area residents had to take a different route to work this morning after a tractor trailer headed toward Illinois overturned in Bowling Green.

According to the Warren County Sheriff's Department, the tractor trailer was traveling northbound on U.S. 231 around 5:30 this morning when the back tire came off, causing the big rig to overturn.

The sheriff's department, along with the Hadley Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene.

The departments had to unload cases of water from the truck in order to turn it upright again.

The driver was not injured in the accident.
