A Kentucky family buried a loved one eight years ago, and now they're correcting a mistake you should be aware of.
Jackie Clark was laid to rest at Rosehill Elmwood Cemetery in Owensboro in 1998.
Her family recently discovered she was placed in the wrong plot.
The management company that runs the cemetery says the mistake was made by the previous owner.
The family demanded Clark be moved to her rightful spot, but first cemetery officials had to make sure her remains were in the casket.
Yesterday workers raised her casket out of the wrong plot and placed it into the correct one.
A short service was held to mark the occasion.
A spokesperson for the family says they plan to file complaint with the Kentucky Attorney General's Office.
They wany an investigation to determine if any other remains are buring incorrectly.
