PVA Candidate Profile

Tommy Kelley is a Warren County native who has lived here almost all his life. He has a background in real estate and is currently employed by Caldwell Banker. Kelley has worked closely with the PVA office and believes his experience could pay off.

The name Bob Branstetter may ring a bell. He owns Branstetter Built Homes. The Hart County native moved to Bowling Green in 1971 to attend WKU and liked it so much he never left.

Jack Wright is the Stormwater Management Director for Warren County. The Barren County native is on the board of directors for the Woodburn Volunteer Fire Department and has served as treasurer for the last 10 years.

Now each of these men say the position has been in capable hands over the last 20 years, but they would consider changing a couple things. All three candidates seem to have clear goals if elected.

"I think there is an opportunity to move the web page forward and integrate mapping with existing property information and make the web more useful," says Tommy Kelley.

"We might create more work stations for outside users, realtors, lawyers and other need more space to work," says Bob Branstetter.

"One thing I've promised is to establish a task force of users of the PVA office to look at things and suggest useful changes," says Jack Wright.

The primary, which will decide a winner in this race, is set for next Tuesday.
