Warren County will lead the way in a national tribute to fallen law enforcement officers across the U.S.

Captain Joe Jakub with the Warren County Sheriff’s Department left for Washington D.C. Thursday.

He's driving the county’s new Reach for Your Dreams 2006 GMC Dream Machine, and pulling their American Spirit Harley Motorcycle.

Jakub will ride the Harley as he leads the National Police Memorial Law Ride and Wreath Laying Ceremony on Sunday.

The memorial is to honor those who gave their lives in the line of duty.

The ride will draw thousands of motorcycle-riding law enforcement officers, their friends and supporters from across the country.
