A Bowling Green woman is having her dream come true on national television Friday.
Jerry Gensheimer's wife, Deborah, wrote in to the Ellen Degeneres show asking them to fulfill her "crazy" dream of having lush, green grass covering her bare, dirt, filled yard.
This week, Deborah was flown to Los Angeles for a taping of the "Ellen" show, completely unaware that her dream had been chosen.
Meanwhile, crews have been at the Gensheimer's home on Rich Pond/Rockfield Road making the yard a reality.
Deborah learned of the surprise during a taping of the show Thursday afternoon in Los Angeles.
You can see her reaction when the episode of "Ellen" airs Friday afternoon at 3 p.m. right here on WBKO.
