One of the state's legislators will be visiting some area schools as part of a national program.

Representative Jim Decesare of Bowling Green will visit schools in the 21st district as part of the "America's Legislators Back to School Program."

He will personally meet with young constituents to answer questions, share ideas, and listen to their concerns.

Decesare will visit fourth and fifth grade students throughout Warren County - beginning at Oakland Elementary on Wednesday.

The National Conference of State Legislatures introduced the program in 1999 to provide a contemporary approach for engaging students in understanding the value of democracy.
