A Scottsville police officer is suing an ex-Allen County Sheriff's Deputy over a bizarre incident in a Scottsville restaurant this past June.

Officer Todd Bransford is suing former Deputy Robert W. Gaston for assault and battery.

Bransford is also suing Gaston, the Allen County Sheriff's Office, and Allen County itself, for negligence.

Bransford says Gaston shot his legs with a taser under a table at a restaurant June 22nd.

He says this attack occurred after repeated warnings from Bransford during taunting by Gaston on several previous occasions.

Bransford is seeking an unspecified amount of money for what he calls an unprovoked attack.
