Investigators are on the scene in Harlan County, Kentucky where five miners died in an underground explosion.

Three of the miners survived the blast, but they apparently died of carbon monoxide poisoning.

Governor Ernie Fletcher said on "Good Morning America" today that the rescue breathers need to be tested. They're designed to last an hour, but the lone survivor of the blast says his worked for just five minutes.

The lone survivor of the Darby mine explosion says despite the fact that he's a third generation miner and he's worked in the mines for sixteen years, he will never step foot in the mines again.
