A hearing is set for Tuesday in the Netherlands for a Dutch national fighting a request to return the latest suspect to Aruba.
The man is being held on suspicion of being involved in the disappearance of American teenager Natalee Holloway.
The man is described as a croupier at the casino in the hotel where Holloway was staying when she vanished almost a year ago.
His lawyer says his client is suspected of "assisting in the murder" of the Alabama high school senior.
Dutch marines, the Aruban Coast Guard, the FBI and hundreds of volunteers have searched the island and coastal areas of Aruba for Holloway, to no avail.
The suspect was arrested Wednesday and is being questioned by Dutch police at the request of Aruban authorities.
He has not been formally charged.
