The father of a young boy killed six years ago pleads guilty in court.
George Gossett's six-year-old son, Lee, was thrown from his father's pick up truck in Franklin six years ago.
Gossett tested positive for having cocaine in his system at the time, but the blood work was lost at the hospital.
He pleaded guilty under an Alford Plea to first degree Wanton Endangerment, which is a felony, and failure to wear a seatbelt.
The recommended sentence is five years probation, substance abuse counseling, and random drug testing.
Amy Gardner, Gossett's ex-wife fought back tears as she read a victim's statement in the courtroom.
She said that the day was about "accountability and not revenge."
The final sentencing for George Gossett will be on June 12 at 9:00 in Simpson County Circuit Court.
