Missouri woman killed in Allen County accident

A MISSOURI WOMAN IS DEAD AFTER A MEMORIAL DAY ACCIDENT IN ALLEN COUNTY.
THE WRECK HAPPENED AROUND NINE O'CLOCK LAST NIGHT ON U.S. 31-E.
STATE POLICE SAY 40-YEAR-OLD GLENDA MESSERSMITH OF OZARK MISSOURI WAS KILLED WHEN HER FORD EXPLORER ROLLED DOWN AN EMBANKMENT.
MESSERSMITH WAS THROWN OUT THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR WINDOW AND THE VEHICLE ROLLED ON TOP OF HER BEFORE COMING TO A FINAL REST IN A TREE LINE AREA.
SHE WAS PRONOUNCED DEAD AT THE SCENE.
HER PASSENGER, 44-YEAR-OLD STEVE MESSERSMITH WAS PARTIALLY EJECTED FROM THE VEHICLE.
HE HAD TO BE PULLED FROM THE WRECKAGE AND FLOWN TO VANDERBILT WHERE HE IS LISTED IN STABLE CONDTION.
