A North Dakota plant that makes crustless peanut butter and jelly sandwiches will move to South Central Kentucky.
The JM Smucker company owns the plant in West Fargo, North Dakota.
Smucker had planned to close the West Fargo plant at the end of the month but officials say production demands will keep it open longer. A new facility in Scottsville will take on full production of the Uncrustables products.
The plant employs about 120 people.
A spokeswoman says the move is not a reflection on the plant's operations. She says Smucker's wanted the plant closer to its customers and its ingredient suppliers.
