A Muhlenberg County man and two Logan County men jailed on multiple drug charges.
RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. (WBKO) -- Several members of area law enforcement helped track down a Muhlenberg County man wanted for a parole violation and making meth. The Logan County Sheriff's Department says they arrested 49-year-old Timothy Shawn Anderson of Dunmor this weekend.
A police report shows Logan County Sheriff Wallace Whittaker got information about where Anderson was in Dunmor. Police say when they got there they found Anderson in the attic hiding while making meth.
Anderson is in the Muhlenberg County Jail on several drug charges and parole violation. The Logan County Sheriff's Department also arrested a Russellville man this weekend on several drug-related charges.
Deputies say hey stopped 20-year-old Philip Ryan Cox of Russellville for speeding on highway 68-80. Authorities say they could smell marijuana coming from inside the car.
A police report shows a deputy searched the car and found cocaine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. Police charged Cox with multiple drug related charges and speeding.
Also in Logan County, the sheriff's department arrests an Adairville man on several drug charges. A police report tells us deputies got a call about a disturbance in Adairville involving someone and a knife.
When police got there they arrested 22-year-old Robert K. Asad.
Police say he had a Xanax bar and a marijuana pipe, and is now facing numerous drug charges. Police say he also had two outstanding warrants.
