Three southern Kentucky teenagers are set to dance in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York.

The Daily Times reports 17-year-old Chenoah Lessenberry, 16-year-old Marisa Moore and 16-year-old Victoria Watson will spend a week in the city with Spirit of America and their teacher, Adrienne Snyder and two other chaperones. Snyder runs Ms. Adrienne's Dance Studio in Glasgow.

This is the first year Snyder's studio has sent dancers to the parade. Snyder said this is the first time the studio has had students willing and able to go, despite receiving invitations in prior years.

Lessenberry says going to New York for the parade "is like a dream come true."
