Death Penalty

Jury selection began Tuesday in the death penalty murder trial of Nate Wood of Glasgow. Wood is accused of shooting and killing his former girlfriend, 33-year-old Anna Jones, in Glasgow Jan. 3, 2001. He's also charged with wounding former Hilltopper basketball star, Fred Tisdale, and holding Burldean Summers hostage in her Burkesville Road home that same day.

Special Judge John Minton from Warren County is hearing Wood's case. He expects jury selection to take two weeks. Barren Commonwealth Attorney, Karen Davis, is seeking the death penalty against Wood.
