The food police are going after KFC.
A Maryland doctor and the Center for Science in the Public Interest are suing the parent compnay of fast-food giant, KFC.
They want Yum Brands to change the type of cooking oil KFC uses.
A KFC spokeswoman calls the lawsuit frivolous and says the company will fight it in court.
They suit says the oil in the food contains trans fat, and the Food and Drug Administration says trans fat raises bad cholesterol.
KFC says it is looking into using other types of oik for cooking, but is committed to maintaining the taste and flavor.
