Bill and Bonnie Schlict sold their home and belongings to hit the road for Habitat for Humanity and the American Red Cross. They've traveled 16,000 miles in their RV building homes for others.

After Bill had a heart attack followed by heart surgery, he and Bonnie decided it was time to spend time helping others. And that's why they are this week's Hometown Heroes.
