Kindergarteners at South Edmonson Elementary are putting together comfort packages for fellow students. Nine students at the school, who have loved ones overseas, will receive boxes full of games, stuffed animals, books, and cameras.

Kindergarten teacher, Brooke Vincent, says the idea came about after some students asked how they could help with the war. The project was funded by a $500 service learning grant by Edmonson County Community Education.
