Warren Circuit Judge Tom Lewis accepted the jury's recommendation, sentencing 40-year-old Wilton Lane Westerfield to life in prison Monday.
Westerfield was convicted Feb. 28 of kidnapping an Auburn woman and her 11-year-old daughter, then forcing the mother to perform sex acts as they drove through neighboring counties.
Westerfield will be eligible for parole after serving 20 years in prison.
