A 12-year-old Fort Campbell boy died Thursday while riding a roller-coaster at Disney World.

Michael Russell had ridden the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster with his parents and younger brother when his father noticed Michael had gone limp.

Michael was pronounced dead after being taken to a nearby hospital. The cause of death is unknown.

He is the ninth person to die at the resort just outside Orlando since 2003.

Disney officials closed the ride so it could investigate what happened. The ride reaches speeds of 60 miles per hour.
