Secretary of State Trey Grayson made the announcement this morning in Frankfort. A total of nine new positions were created by the passage of House Bill 267 during the 2005 session of the General Assembly. Candidates have between July 17th and August 8th to file for the offices. Because there is no primary election for these positions. All candidates will appear on the November 7th ballot. In addition to Warren County's Family Court Judge, Hart, Larue and Nelson counties will get a new Circuit Judge. Butler, Edmonson, Ohio and Hancock Counties are getting a Family Court Judge.
