A Bowling Green drug trafficker associated with a barber shop pleads guilty to selling crack cocaine.

30-year-old William David Downey was arrested in February at his home on Mount Olivet Road.

After executing a search warrant...authorities seized more than 90 grams of crack cocaine, 23 grams of cocaine and 28 grams of marijuana.

Authorities also found surveillance equipment and more than seven thousand dollars in cash.

Downey's charges stem from an investigation involving drug trafficking at Fadz 4 Dayz barber shop on Russellville Road.

After pleading guilty in federal court this week, Downey faces a maximum sentence of life, an eight thousand dollar fine and up to life on supervised release.

He'll be sentenced October 3.
