Catherine Rice Holderfield was appointed warren county family court judge in April of 2005 by Governor Ernie Fletcher. Since then, she has conducted nearly 3,426 hearings, and heard divorce cases, custody battles, domestic violence cases, and adoptions.
Holderfield emphasizes her 16 years practicing law, and her life experience as a mother as making her the best qualified to retain her position as family court judge.
Earlier this month, Bowling Green Attorney Dixie Satterfield announced his candidacy for the same post.
