An Ohio County man is in jail this morning charged with murder and leaving the scene of an accident. Kentucky State Police arrested 29 year old Brian Bellamy for the death of 33-year-old Antone Wilkins.

Wilkins was killed after being hit by Bbellamy's vehicle on Highway 54 just north of Fordsville.

K.S.P. was able to link Bellamy to the scene after finding what they called a "sizable amount of evidence." They believe the collision is not racially motivated but do suspect alcohol to be a contributing factor.

Bellamy works as a paramedic in Hopkinsville. He is lodged in the Ohio County jail on a $100,000 secured bond.
