Governor Fletcher is being sued.
Three nominees to The Murray State University Board of Regents say they're suing the Governor because he violated state law when he didn't pick one of them to sit on the board.
Kenneth Galloway, Sharon Green, and Kenneth Shadowen filed the lawsuit in Franklin Circuit Court yesterday.
Fletcher Spokesperson, Jodi Whitaker says the Governor was within his rights when he didn't select a candidate.
Acting Murray State President, Kern Alexander says he believes Fletcher wanted a candidate who could help the school's former Athletic Director in a breach of contract suit.
Alexander says former Murray State Athletic Director, E.W. Dennison is friends with Fletcher's running mate in the upcoming election.
