In the heat of August... In the small town of Fancy Farm, lives one of the wildest political debates in Kentucky. Once a year, politicians and voters come together to discuss state and national politics.
This year the scene was somewhat lopsided with the absence of so many Republicans, including Governor Ernie Fletcher and US Senators Mitch McConnell and Jim Bunning.
Attorney General Greg Stumbo called the lack of turnout by the Republicans signs of a party in distress.
"If you can't stand the heat... Get out of the kitchen. The fact of the matter is republican policy both at the state and national level have failed."
Secretary of State Trey Greyson did say he would seek election next year... Although he would not confirm if he would run for Governor.
"For too long we've been ranking too low in these statistics... And we've got to do something about it and by adding my voice to the debate... I think we can do something about it."
For many Kentuckians the B-B-Q is best served with a side of political debate.
