Morgantown residents are firm believers in the old saying "No news is good news." So the fact that Friday night's Butler County High School graduation ceremony went off without a hitch is news in and of itself, since local police had feared more violence in the wake of wednesday night's city-wide brawl.
Extra security in the form of sheriff's deputies were on hand to ensure that the long-standing feud between Butler County and Ohio County students didn't flare up again.
Much to the relief of students, parents, and school officials, everyone recieved their diploma in peace, and families were able to celebrate in peace.
