A Warren County family of four is looking for a new home, after their house went up in flames.
Casey Steele with the Richardsville Fire Department said, "The whole house has smoke damage and the frontal portion of the house has extensive fire damage; there's not much to be salvaged."
The Richardsville Fire Department was called to the northern Warren County house around 2 p.m. The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
Richardsville, Gott, and Barren River fire units responded to the fire. Fire personnel were on the scene for a few hours. Fire officials say the cause is still unknown, but the residents said they heard a crackling coming from the air conditioning.
