Families with the Family Support Group in Bowling Green are working to bring home soldiers from the 149th Regiment out of Eastern Kentucky, the 410th Quarter Masters, and the Second Brigade 123rd ROAC division.
This will cost the Family Support Group around $6,000.
One local real estate agent from Bowling Green was in the military for 37 years and has already vowed to contribute $100 dollars and is urging the community and businesses to follow.
"This is just an opportunity for the whole community to get behind the people who have gone to serve", said Roger Lambert of Keller Williams Reality.
If you're interested in lending your support to the group the Family Support Group is holding a yard and bake sale on Saturday, August 12th at the National Guard Armory in Bowling Green to raise money to bring these troops home from Camp Shelby, Mississippi for two weeks.
