Teachers and Students at Parker-Bennett Elementary will be saying good-bye to their school forever at the end of the year. The school will be relocating to L.C. Curry at the end of the year. Once the school is vacated it will be leveled and a new school will be built on the empty lot.

Many teachers and students say they are going to miss the school. In March, the school board voted to close L.C. Curry at the end of this school year. During the transition the former L.C. Curry will be called Parker-Bennett-Curry Elementary.
