A Campbellsville man is dead following a truck-crash in Taylor county.

The Sheriff's Department there says the accident happened around ten last night, about six miles east of Campbellsville.

That's when witnesses say 56-year-old Richard Rakes' 2005 Ford pickup crossed lanes and collided with a 2005 Chevy pickup driven by 57-year-old Doug Cox of Mannsville.

Rakes was pronounced dead at the scene.

Cox was flown to the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington.

His condition was unavailable.
