The expansion of Cemetery Road creates a new bike path but also creates safety issues for cyclists and motorists.

Some cyclists say motorists are confused about the new traffic light setup and have even confused the bike path for a turning lane. Residents agree all precautions have been taken, it's just a matter of the community adjusting to the change.

The bike trail is part of the 1999 Greenbelt System which is a 30 year project connecting parks, schools, and other points of interest in the Bowling Green community.
