A rare election allows an Alvaton man the opportunity to sell his homemade wine at his farm this spring.
Rex Reid filed a petition with the Warren County Clerk's Office earlier this month, for the election that would allow the 890 residents in the Drake Precinct to vote "Yes" or "No" on the sale of wine at the Reid Livery Winery.
The polls closed at 6:00 p.m. On December 16, and the results are in.
The Warren County Clerk's Office says 145 people voted "Yes," while 52 voted "No."
