An anti-war group has removed the names of soldiers who died in Iraq after posting them at the state fair without the permission of their families.
The Louisville Peace Action Community says it opposes the war and is now asking permission of survivors to display the names of soldiers who have died.
The name of Robert Henderson, who was killed in Iraq in 2004, was among 52 Kentucky service members’ names posted. The names were listed beneath a sign at the fair that read Support the Troops Stop the War.
Lisa Henderson says her husband would not have been in support of the group’s call for troops to be pulled out of Iraq.
