Most of you remember Presley Nash, the Bowling Green girl who suffers from a rare genetic disorder who needed a bone marrow transplant.
The Nash family has been at the children's hospital in Minneapolis since September, while their daughter received treatment. Saturday afternoon, neighbors from around the community came together to help paint the Nash home. The Nash's had purchased the paint before finding out about Presley's diagnosis but were unable to start the job because of their daughters illness.
A local church group has been at work painting the house so it will be ready when the Nash family comes home later this month. There will be a welcome home party for Presley Nash Sunday, July 13 at WKU's South Campus Community College from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m.
The Nash's want to invite the community because of the incredible amount of support they've received.
