Nearly 12-hundred members of the 101st Airborne Division are scheduled to return from Iraq this weekend and early next week.
The soldiers returning in four groups are with the 101st and 159th Aviation Brigades and the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Brigade Combat Teams.
The Army post began holding welcome home ceremonies for the soldiers on Saturday.
About 900 soldiers with the 101st Airborne returned in a two-day span earlier this week.
The division's 20,000 soldiers began deploying to the Iraq War for the second time in August 2005.
Soldiers have been returning gradually, beginning with small groups in July. The Army post says 2,800 soldiers have returned to Fort Campbell so far.
The return flights are expected to continue through November.
