Pan-Oston, a company that makes custom metal and wood fixtures for stores like Wal-mart, already employs more than 300 people, but plans to add 200 more.
The existing Pan-Oston facility on 6944 Louisville Road will expand by more than 100,000 square feet over the next couple of years.
The company plans to purchase more than $2 million worth of additional equipment.
Pan-Oston is a majority owned subsidiary of Houchen's industries with facilities in Kentucky, Georgia and Canada.
The total project will cost around $8 million and will take about two years to complete.
