Western's budget for 2003-2004 totals $211.7 million. This figure is $18.5 million more than last year's budget.
One million dollars is budgeted specifically for 20 new faculty positions. Funding is also available for the opening of the new Mass Media and Technology Hall.
All University employees will receive a 3.7-percent salary increase under the budget which takes effect July 1.
