Nearly 326 volunteers worked together Thursday, Sept. 7, 2006, for one very special event that will help non-profit organizations.
This weekend the Lil’ Angels Attic Organization is going to host their children’s clothing sale. The event takes place two times a year, once in the spring and once in the fall.
“They are gently used great items in good condition. Thirty percent of what Lil’ Angles Attic keeps, we give to local organizations that support children and families,” said Michelle Wheller, co-chair.
The sale will be held on Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Broadway United Methodist Church, and again proceeds will go to various non-profit organizations in our community such as Girls Inc. and the Family Enrichment Center.
This is the ninth time they have held the sale and in the past Lil’ Angels Attic has raised $104,000.
