It's been busy couple of days to say the least for the Red Cross of South Central Kentucky.

It currently has shelters in Brownsville and Morgantown, and is reaching out to help counties not in its jurisdiction such as Grayson, Ohio, and Muhlenberg.

The turnout of volunteers and donations have been amazing, but all recourses are still exhausted.

Bill Schlicht of the Red Cross, is asking potential volunteer teams to contact the organization first.

"If there are teams who do want to go we would like to coordinate them with the County Emergency Management, so the have a point of contact to report to, so we are not sending them up there blind."

Schlicht continues to say, the volunteers needed the most right now are for chainsaw cutting crews, and the supplies needed are any form of bedding and bottle water.
