Transpark supporters are celebrating a major victory in their struggle to bring the Kentucky TriModal Transpark to Warren County.

Franklin Circuit Court Judge Roger Crittenden ruled that the approval process for Transpark bonds was legal.

This ruling upheld the County Debt Commission decision to approve the $25 million bond issuance for the Transpark.

Last year, Joey Roberts went to the County Debt Commission to appeal the state local debt officer decision to issue the Transpark bonds.

When they denied his appeal, he took the case to the Franklin Circuit Court.

Under Kentucky law, Roberts has 30 days to appeal the circuit court's decision.

Roberts says he will meet with his attorney to decide whether he will file an appeal.
