More than 550 new jobs are coming to the area.
Governor Fletcher was among those on hand to celebrate the grand opening of T. Marzetti Company’s new 220,000 square-foot facility.
Officials also announced that the company will locate its newest sister Schubert's Homemade Rolls facility in Horse Cave.
Together, the two plants will create more than 550 jobs for Kentuckians.
T. Marzetti manufactures market salad dressings, vegetables and fruit dips as well as specialty food products for retail and food service markets.
Sister Schubert's makes yeast rolls, frozen dinner rolls and other bread products for retail and food service markets.
Sister Schubert will be adjacent to the T. Marzetti operation and will be operational by summer 2007.
