4 Arrested After Causing Thousands In Damage At Warren County Business

SMITHS GROVE (WBKO) -- A Smiths Grove business is picking up the pieces after vandals caused more than $30,000 in damage. The Warren County Sheriff's Office said three teens, along with 20 year old Lindsey Reeder got into the locked fence at Saylor's Golf Cart on Friday night.

Police said security cameras show the boys wearing masks and taking more than a dozen golf carts. Those carts were then wrecked before being left all over town.

"The staff there located at least nine carts that were stolen from the business. Several more, 15 in total that were damaged were stolen," said Stephen Harmon of the Warren County Sheriff's Office.

Early estimates show more than $30,000 in damage. That's a number expected to climb in a week or so. Reeder is the only person who's been in jail at the time of this article. Each suspect is facing theft and criminal mischief charges.
