Two Muhlenberg county residents are behind bars after authorities break up an active meth lab.

Last night about 11:30, Kentucky State Police responded to a camper trailer near Drakesboro after smelling a chemical odor in the area.

A subsequent search of the vehicle uncovered an active lab.

Troopers arrested 32-year-old Michael Shulze of Drakesboro, and 20-year-old Jessica Lee of Browder on a number of drug-related charges.

The two were lodged in the Muhlenberg County Jail.
