Kentucky Court of Appeals candidate Kelly Thompson has asked Judge Tom Lewis to force WU-HU fm and WBGN am to broadcast his campaign advertisements before the November 4th election.

WU-HU General Manager Mike Thompson says the FCC only mandates advertisements be aired. He says local and state races are under the station's jurisdiction, and he stands by the decision not to air sports for any of the 2003 races including Thompson's opponent Judge John Minton.

Judge Lewis is looking over the matter and plans to make a ruling soon. Kelly Thompson says he plans to eventually take this issue to the Appellate court.
