An airplane like the one that crashed at Blue Grass Airport in Lexington last month rolled slowly down Runway 26 this morning with no intention of taking off.
It was carrying an estimated 44 lawyers, 24 aviation experts and a dozen family members of the 49 people who died in the crash.
Runway 26 is supposed to be used by smaller planes that do not require as much distance to take off, but the ComAir plane that crashed was on the shorter runway by mistake.
Those participating arrived at six Eastern Time this morning. It was still dark, just as it was the morning of the crash.
