More than one point six million children in the United States are adopted and that number is expected to increase. Adoption officials say the increase is probably due to a high amount of awareness.
In fact November is National Adoption Month. One Bowling Green family, Chris and Brittney Sweeney, just adopted a little boy from Korea. Landon is seven months old and has been living with the couple for three weeks. The Sweeney's say they felt drawn to International Adoption but also considered domestic adoption.
