A man convicted of two counts of manslaughter in a fatal drunk driving crash receives a 15-year-sentence.
Gary Pentecost was found guilty on Oct. 17, 2006, in Christian Circuit Court. After two and a half hours of deliberations, the jury recommended two seven and a half year sentences to run consecutively for a total of 15 years.
Pentecost was convicted in the deaths of Jimmy and Shaleen Johnson of Franklin, Ky. The Johnson's are the parents of WBKO's Darla Oglesby. The couple was struck November 2005 while riding their motorcycle on Highway 6880 near Fairview.
Pentecost was also found guilty of drunk driving.
