A South Central Kentucky preacher has now been indicted by a federal grand jury.
The Park City Methodist preacher was just released on bond last week. Fifty-two-year-old David Meadows has been indicted for possessing and distributing child pornography.
The indictment alleges between April 17th and October 6th of this year. Meadows, who was at the time a minister with the United Methodist Church, distributed child porn and possessed pictures and videos depicting child porn.
Federal authorities say they found pornographic images involving children in Meadows’ nightstand, his desk and his computer.
If convicted, Meadows could receive no less than five and no more than 30 years in prison, and/or a $500,000 fine, along with a supervised release for life.
Meadows is scheduled to appear for his arraignment November 22nd here in Bowling Green.
